I have always been fascinated by time travel. Ever since I first watched the movie “Somewhere in Time” (starring Superman, I mean Christopher Reeve and Jane Eyre, oops, I mean Jane Seymour), any other movie that has a time travel theme would get me interested to watch it. And so when I first ran into the title of this book, I simply had to read it.

I just finished reading The Time Traveler’s wife. It is a beautiful story. A love story.

A man with a time-traveling gene uses his innate abilities to visit his lover at different points in her life.

As I read the book page by page, I felt I was somehow transformed as Claire waiting for my Henry to come home. Feeling the hopes and the joys of being in love with someone who changes in front of me dramatically in years of my life. The love was so intense, I felt I could be there and not regret it because of such undying love given and received. Or sometimes I felt as though I was Henry travelling in the past and at the same time waiting so much to be in the presesnt.

I know I am such a hopeless romantic. I laughed and I cried in this story. I travelled back in time and into the future with Henry. Although I was not the author, I wished I could change the words so I can let the moments linger a little longer and the time spent between Henry and Claire can be prolonged.

But I suppose any story must have an ending. Was it sad? Was it happy one? I think it all depends on how you perceive it as the reader.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt made headlines when they bought the film rights to Niffenegger’s novel before it was released to the public. Imagine if they had the chance to film the movie? It is supposed to be in production now, but I’m not really sure who will play the main characters. I just have to wait and see.

This is actually the first time I saw this photo. My hubby must have taken it during one of his walks.

You never know where your balloon will land, so better not release any into the air for it will end up somewhere that might hurt the environment.

Sharon Cuneta Mega 30 Concert tour went to Toronto last Sunday, June 07 2009 with special guest, her daughter KC .

Together with my sister and my cousin, we enjoyed the concert at Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

From Dear Heart, to PS I love You, Ikaw, Bituin Walang Ningning, Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok ko to Kahit Konting Pagtingin, I was singing with her all along. Sharon’s songs definitely brought so much memories.

Not a lot of people write anymore with a pen and paper. Most of our letter or correspondence are through emails and we simply use the computer to write. However, for the few that still do, here are ….

10 Secrets Your Handwriting Might Reveal

Ever wonder what your handwriting says about you? A lot, a graphologist would say–and chances are, not all of it would be pretty. To give you a taste of the messages you may be sending every time you write a note, we’ve put together a list of ten handwriting secrets in the graphologist’s sack. Be warned, though: Graphology is too complex to be boiled down into universal nuggets. So, take these with a grain of salt (and don’t break out your prison flip-flops just yet).
1. Are your Us and Ws rounded on their bottoms? You’re sensitive and maybe poetic.
2. Do you cross your Ts in the middle or at the top? The lower you cross your T, the less ambition you have.
3. Do you loop your Cs at the top? Then, to quote Carly Simon, you’re so vain.
4. Are your As and Os tightly closed? Perhaps you’re hiding something.
5. Do your letters slant every which way? If so, then yikes. Only 10 percent of the general population has a wobbly slant–compared with 70 to 80 percent of convicted felons.
6. Do you have the “felon’s claw”? It’s another hallmark of the criminal, and it occurs when you bring a letter straight down, then attach a claw-shaped curve to its end–say when you’re writing the lowercase y.
7. Is your signature different from your regular handwriting? Then perhaps you’re putting on an act.
8. Do the connecting swoops between your letters droop? Maybe you have a martyr complex, and are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.
9. Is your handwriting spiky and angular? Relax. There’s no need to be so tense.
10. Are your letters a bit squatty? If they’re biggest in the middle zone, and don’t extend much up or below the baseline, then you’re perhaps a bit childish. The Disney logo, based on Walt Disney’s handwriting, is a good example of this.
