Trick or Treat

Today is Halloween and it sure was a a fun filled day for my little princess. She dressed up as Tinker Bell. The school had a little dance happening, a pizza lunch and lots of treats from the classmates.

When evening came, we started our rounds in the neighborhood. Some houses really went all out decorating for this night.

And there were lots of beautifully carved pumpkins all over.

We decided to hang-out with her cousins so it’ll be more fun.

After an hour of trick or treating, the kids had there bags full of goodies and were exhausted so we decided to call it a night. We missed giving out goodies to trick or treaters from our home. Maybe next year.

Hubby and daughter carved the pumpkin we bought from the pumpkin farm a couple of weeks ago but failed to take the pumpkin out so it wrinkled a bit. I suppose it turned out just fine.

Well, the day is almost gone. Hope you had a great Halloween.
Me, I’m just happy the kids did.

  4. Sayang, trick or treating is not so big here in Cebu… I heard the affluent families in exclusive subdivisions in Manila have adopted the Halloween trick or treat tradition. :Dh

  8. great photos! looks like your neighborhood is a fun place to trick or treat 🙂 We never get a chance to give out candy since we are always out on Halloween night too.

I’ll just be posting halloween photos this weekend…since I’m doing my daily blogging obligations 🙂

  10. Hi, Leah. Nice-looking pumpkins! Halloween is not such a big deal here, although Nov. 1 is a holiday, and we had a dress-up party for kids and grownups the night before. All our pumpkins were plastic though 🙂

  11. wow pumpkins deco was just perfect! buti pakayo kami as in wala lang, there were few children who did the trick or treat a day beore !

  12. Thanks for including us in your celebration of the holiday. Looks like a good time was had by all.

I took the kids around the neighborhood, while my wife stayed home and handed out the treats. I think she got the better end of the deal: it was COLD!
