I have the most boring desktop view. Dodong tagged me on this and I am supposed to give a snap shot of what it looks right now. I used to have a photo of a my daughter and occasionally I would change it to a nature scenery like a tree, a flower or the beach but I read somewhere that I should keep my desktop clean so my computer will work faster…and so I did
I decided to spiffy it up a bit and show off the pumpkins I took a picture of a couple of weeks ago from the pumpkin farm. And here’s how it looks like now.

My Desktop Free View Instruction:
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. 😀
You can do a screen capture by: [1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). [2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V). [3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

Yes, its been carved today (finally) we downloaded some templates on line and picked one that we liked best. Its out by the front door in display now. Will post a photo before halloween.

Your desktop is so clean and organized. Mine – half is covered with icons haha. Shortcuts that I felt needed to be there, but many have not been even used yet LOL.

Your desktop view is not the most boring desktop view… I’ve seen more boring ones. hehehe. 😀 I also remember reading that the pictures on the desktop could slow down a computer. But that was several years ago, so I don’t know if its still applicable today.
